As many of you know, I had the privilege of attending the “Together for the Gospel” (T4G) conference in Louisville, KY, two weeks ago. If you’re unfamiliar with the conference, it began in 2006 when four friends—Al Mohler, Mark Dever, C.J. Mahaney, and Ligon Duncan—decided it would be a good idea to get ministers together from across denominational lines to share in and celebrate the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ
If you know anything about the four guys mentioned above, you know they do not agree on everything. Issues like baptism, charismatic gifts, and church government are regular places of departure for them, and yet they are committed to stand together in the one thing most necessary—the gospel.
I’ve had the privilege of attending three of the four “Together for the Gospel” conferences, and of all the ones I’ve attended, this year was the best. The power of the worship, the quality of the preaching, the engagement in panel discussions, and the fellowship among brothers was richer and deeper than it’s ever been.
If you are interested in benefiting from the conference, the messages and panel discussions are available online. Go to www.t4g.org and you’ll find audio and video files ready for streaming or download. I highly commend it to you.
